'Kisses Like Strawberry Wine' is a studio recorded track with a lilting 3/4 rhythm and a country-style composition. With a flavour of a song probably best sung by a fireside with a whisky shot in one hand, which is how it began its composed created form, it musically narrates the story of a relationship that grows innocently between two people. Their trysts over a number of years assure themselves of how strongly they feel about each another.

However, when they admit this to those who they hope would understand their genuine love for one another, they are met with prejudice and rejection.

Whether they make it together or not depends on how firmly they hold onto the dream of the happiness they deserve as much as they believe any two people in love should.

In an era of LBGTQ and LBGTQIA, equality and Pride, this song is an appeal for the acceptance of the many colours and forms of love, even though it refers to 'a story from so long ago'. Some people are forced to give up on their dreams which may often be an undeniable reality. 'Whether together in good times and bad' which is mentioned in the lyrics can also be interpreted as 'weather together in good times and bad', a reference to sacred vows, loving through thick and thin, for better or for worse.

Love is a strong force which transcends time and space but still has an enduring fight for all humanity to come to know it, in its truest sense.

We hope you enjoy the blend of instruments throughout and the rich harmonies that pop right out towards the end of the track (which has been compared to The Corrs)!
